Double Digits

Well, I am officially 10 weeks pregnant today!
I can't believe it!
I go for my next prenatal on tuesday.
I will have more of an update then.
I really hope that she confirms what I am hearing - that this exhaustion will end within the next 2-6 weeks because it is really taking a tole on me!
YAY for double digits!

8 days until I tell my parents!!
11 days until we tell BJ's parents!! (and the rest of the world! )

Insert foot in mouth...

Well, I received an email from our union rep today about a maternity/parental leave session happening through the schoolboard in april. Stupid me, hit reply and replied to one of my COLLEAGUES that I wanted to register for this session.

Of course, she sent an email back to me, asking me if there were "babies in my belly"

I still haven't told my parents yet, two of my colleagues already know, I just didn't want everyone at work to know before the people close to me. Anyway, I totally lied! LOL..
I said that I was thinking that babies might be in my belly before I'm permanent so I just had some questions on my rights so I can decide how long we will wait to have children.

I feel like I'm back to TTC again, and in the 2WW.. execpt this 2WW is so I can tell the world that I'm pregnant!!
Only 11 more days! :S HOLY this is taking FOREVER

But it's hard to believe that in 11 more days I will be past the first trimester!! Crazy!

9 weeks... and counting!

Well, hard to believe that I'm 9 weeks tonight!
I have not yet met with the porcelin throne, so I considering myself one of the very lucky ones (so far!). Not to say I haven't had any morning sickness, but it's been pretty good.

On the downside a little bit, My wisdom teeth have decided to come through, so my face is all puffy and swollen and I am on a diet of pretty much mashed potatoes, yogurt, ice cream and milkshakes... This can NOt last long.. because I can't take it for too long... but I'm hoping it will subside. It is an option to have them removed in my second trimester, from research I have been doing.. but I really want to avoid that option if at all possible. I am really nervous about taking any kind of medication, even if the doctor says that its ok, I'd rather not.

Well, those who I told at work have been extrememly supportive. I am very fortunate to be working with such a great staff. Then we tell my parents 2 weeks from today, and we head to glace bay and tell BJ's parents the following Tuesday (on which day we will send out our "announcment cards") - so everyone will know that week! :D It is getting so much closer... hard to believe.

A couple of other girls from TTC #1 got their BFP. Erika, who is a host of the room, and has had a rough go with 3 losses, just got her positive!! She is going to make such a wonderful mommy and I couldn't be happier for her. It's amazing how close I feel to all these girls who I started my journey with. Even though we are miles and miles away - there is something special about sharing this very important journey with someoen who understands. Erika's little one is going to stick this time - I just know it - but for those of you who pray, add them to your prayers - trust me - this couple NEEDS a baby to hold... they are just such fantastic people.

I am adding my 9 week update to the site! My baby is now peeing in my belly! hehe..

Goodbye Embryo... HELLO FETUS

Our baby is officially a fetus this week! Which means it can't be mistaken for a sea creature! It has no tail, and hands and feet, and is an inch big!!
I am getting down in "days until we tell the world", which is very exciting, with the exception of work. I hope they will still consider me for 100% terms when they find out I'm pregnant! But work is work, I will have a baby to cuddle! (It'll just be nice to be paid some money while I'm cuddling him/her)

So, I am 8 weeks pregnant! I can't believe I have been pregnant for 2 months. I am starting to feel better and better about this pregnancy! I just can't wait until 4 more weeks! :D My doctor said that when I reach 10 weeks my chance of miscarriage drops.. so even 10 weeks will be nice!

But anyway, my lovely husband is making me breakfast and it's ready! :D So I better go feed this little bean!

SNOW DAY!!!

Well, we have a snow day today at school! Very exciting to have an extra day of relaxation.
I am hoping the roads clear up because I need to do some shopping. I have no paints that fit me.. and the only pants that I do have are dress pants and comfy exercise pants (although exercise is just a joke nowadays.. I'm lucky if I have enough energy to clean my kitchen, let alone work out.

I am too small for maternity pants, but too big for my pants. I am going to try to find some cheap pants that are stretchy... and will last for a while. I also ordered a bella band on ebay. I hope that I win... it's a stretchy band that you put over your pants so that they fit you longer!!
I can't WAIT utnil I tell everyone at work.. because a lot of my clothes are certainly still wearable, but it's just that you can see the baby bump that is beginning to form. Once I tell everyone, my wardrobe will expand again! :) It's really hard to try to cover it up all the time.
25 more days! :D

7 weeks!!!!

I am officially 7 weeks pregnant!!
That means I get to tell the world in 4 more weeks!
I can't WAIT!
I can't believe that I only have 5 more weeks of my first trimester...
AFter that, this pregnancy has to slowww down so I can enjoy it! :D
Although, I sort of want my baby -now!

I am not looking forward to teling work.. I hope everything goes well there

Now, THIS feels more like it

Well I was wondering how long it was going to take for morning sickness to kick in.
It's HERE!!!
Oh I was soooooo sick this morning. I hope this leaves before the second trimester.
But, it's all worth it in the end.

First OB appointment went well

I'm back from my first OB appointment! It was such a great appointment.. she spent an hour and a half with me, answered all my questions and really made me feel so positive about this pregnancy!! She said that my uterus is measuring 6-8 weeks.. and that my DD is Sept. 30th. I am still thinking it's the 26th, because she went by my last Menstrual Period and not my Ovulation. She actually said between the 26-30th.

She was soooooooo informative, and gave me so much information. UNFORTUNATELY, I won't get an ultrasound until 20 weeks :( Unless something goes wrong.. so I am hoping that I don't get to see this bean until it's 20 weeks old.... which sucks. But she said the appointment AFTER next, I will get to hear the baby's heartbeat... so that will still ease my mind.

Week #6

Well, today I am 6 weeks pregnant! (as far as I know.. my DD might change once I go to the doctors). I am so excited that it's getting closer and closer!
My jeans are getting tight, I can't believe it!! My dress pants are still OK, but I NEVER thought my clothes would get so tight so fast! hehe..

I have my first doctors appointment with the OB on Monday.. now this just has to go well! :D
