Well, I woke up at 5am today, so hungry! haha.. that I had to get out of bed and eat.
Then, I could NOT get back to sleep with the excitement of telling my parents.
I am telling my father with a photo frame that I made for him that says "We love our Nanny and Gramps". It has a picture of Ben in one opening, and then in the other opening it says "Grandbaby #2 - Photo Coming Sept. 30th 2008"
I made my mom a certificate (an idea that I totally stole from one of the JM girls, but I thought it was just toooooooo cute, I'm sure she won't mind). It says "due to your outstanding work as a mother for the last 26 years, you are officially being promoted to Grandmother in the O'Brien household". I am going to get them to open them at the same time - and see who figures it out first!!
I am so excited to tell them, but it's scary to tell people!!! In a weird way, I have gottne used to keeping this secret! Then I will, of course, tell my brothers the next time I see them (and Dawn! I am very excited to tell her!! ) and we will tell BJ's parents on Tuesday.
As if my life could get more exciting??? One of my best friends, told me yesterday that she is pregnant!! I can't BELIEVE we will get to raise our children together! It just makes this pregnancy so much more exciting! Of course, as soon as she told me I "spilled the beans" to her! haha... we were both crying!! It is such a happy time in my life. And not only is it one of my best friends, her AND her husband are such good friends of ours - our babies will only be one month apart - that is just too much to handle! haha.. Now that posting in Sydney is looking pretty good! HAHA.. Can you just imagine?? But I am sooo excited for them, and I am so happy that she is starting this pregnancy with good health and that everything is going to be ok! Who knows, the babies might be born in the same month! I could easily have an October baby, since I am due at the end of the month.
Anyway, Life is pretty good right now. I will update when I tell my parents. 4 hours.
